You've only known each other for a few hours, but you feel a deep bond with Heather. So strong, in fact, that you want to see her again. And again. And again. For the rest of your life.
But you can't contain yourself. You want to be close to her now. You reach out, wrap your arms around her, and pull her close, pressing your lips to hers. Your mind explodes in ecstasy. So this is what kissing was like. You get used to this.
But Heather doesn't feel that way. She pushes you off of her, slaps you across the face, and yells, "What're you doing? We barely even know each other!"
"B-but..." You don't understand. She was giving you all of the signals. Or at least you thought she was. How're you supposed to know? You've been locked away for years!
"Just because I was flirty doesn't mean I want anything serious with you. You guys are all the same."
You scratch your head as she walks away. What just happened?
She turns around at the door. "Oh yeah, and another thing: you never kiss on the first date, creep!"
>> Why not, you wonder?
