O Burger, where art thou?

Deciding to grab your chips first, you take a few more steps to left, past the refrigerator, and open a fresh bag of Crispy Mishapen Melon Wafers™.

When you turn to go grab your drink, you notice that the door to your apartment is open. Odd. You always keep it locked and bolted, and you even use that little metal chain thing that makes you look like Gollum whenever you open the door. Not to mention the fact that you haven't opened the door in almost a month. Sometimes, when you aren't busy buying your milk from RainforestGeneral, you hear the mailman wondering if he should even bother slipping the letter or two from "Ma" through the mail slip.

It was very strange indeed.

You go and shut the door, locking it, turning the deadbolt, and attaching the chain lock securely in place. For an extra measure of security, you decide to put a few strips of duct tape over the crack of the door. Safety safe.

Now where were you? Oh, yeah, your burger. But wait a minute...

It's gone! The burger is gone!

You frantically search the kitchen area of your apartment. Maybe you accidentally bumped it and it fell off the counter? No good. Your immaculate burger is gone.

You have two choices: go outside and face the dangers of the unknown to search for clues, or make another burger in comfort and safety? Your stomach's growling. You don't have much time.
